The 21st round of Bundesliga action will finish with a mouth-watering matchup when the top two sides go head to head. Bayern Munich have overcome a rough start to the season to take a one-point lead ahead of Leipzig, who have struggled after the winter break.

Bayern will enter to contest sitting on a six-game winning streak. Robert Lewandowski looks simply unplayable at the moment, and they have scored at least twice in all the wins, managing 27 goals in total, while conceding only three times. Bayern have won 18 of their last 21 league games at the Allianz Arena.

Leipzig continue to score goals, but their defensive fragilities have led to a run of just two wins in five games. Julian Nagelsmann’s team has kept only one clean sheet in their last 10 Bundesliga games. The Red Bulls own a solid road record with six wins and just two losses in 10 games, but they have conceded at least twice in five of their last six away outings.

The last two matchups between the two teams have ended as draws, and Leipzig have previously won only one of seven Bundesliga clashes. Bayern also beat Leipzig in last year’s cup final 3-0.
