The Portland Trail Blazers and New Orleans Pelicans continue their playoff push after the All-Star break with a very important head to head matchup. Both teams are chasing the final postseason spot in the Western Conference, and a win here could be a big boost ahead of the final stretch of the season.

The Blazers own a 25-31 record, which puts them four games back of the Memphis Grizzlies, who currently hold the final playoff berth. Damian Lillard has been in immense form to give his team a fighting chance to stay in the race, although the Portland leader picked up an injury ahead of the break and might sit this one out.

The Pelicans have left it late, but they have started to climb out of the bottom of the Conference, winning 17 of their last 25 games. Led by rookie sensation Zion Williamson, they have won three of their last four games to improve their record for the season to 23-32.

It’s the fourth meeting of the season between the two, with the Pelicans owning an unbeaten record so far. Portland had won four straight head to head matchups before this season started, including all three last year.
